These fit perfect with TJ style bump stop cups don’t get confused TJ and zj cups that hold the bump stop are different. If you’re replacing missing cups the TJ ones are on Amazon that’s what I used with these bump stop use the 2 x 4 floor jack to install.

Worked great. 1998 XJ 6.5 inch lift. Easy install with springs out, just used a bottle jack and pressed them in. Way tighter fit than stock bump stops.

Took a little work to get them installed as they are tight, better tight than loose.

They are tough to install, but that is because of them being much stiffer than the original foam ones that pop in by hand, which is what you and I probably want. The originals don't even act as an effective bump stop because of how soft they are. If you are doing some serious wheeling with the sway bar disconnected, the originals crush like a loaf of bread. These actually serve their purpose. But with a highly articulated axle, it starts pushing even these off to the side, so I recommend combining these with some hockey pucks inside the coil spring. Make these shorter to reduce the sideways leverage on them, and then do the rest with hockey pucks.

These bump stops look and tough. Took 10 seconds to take the the old one out and another 10 seconds to put these new ones in.

I have been running these for a few years now on my 97' XJ with 3 1/2" lift and 31" tires. The length was perfect for keeping tires from rubbing on the stock fender flares. Can be cut down in size to fine tune how far you want to allow your articulation to go. I will say however that they are a pain to install. Had to use crowbar/pry bar and lots of wd-40 to get them in.

This part does fit my '96 Jeep Cherokee Sport 4.0L & i am very pleased with the part, the ride & installation. This part replaced the original front stops that measured Neck dia.1.560" X 3". The new stops are 2" longer but i like the ride, it's more solid & i like the feel & handling to the road. Before you decide to cut the length down try them as is; then if your not satisfied there's always time to cut them. You can do it between the coils.

Like others have noted, the rubber (urethane?) feels very firm but I think it's for a good reason. When removing my old bump stops, the rubber just crumbled away! 20 years and 246,000 miles can have that affect I guess. But the material on these feels very good. After installing, I've "tested" them with some big pot holes and they didn't feel bad at all either. Oh, and one more thing, they're a lot easier to install with the coil spring removed - ask me how I know ;)I'm including a photo of them side by side with the stock bump stops for size comparison

These are made of much tougher material than the OEM, but still are not hard riding. Note that if you do not need the full length (I didn't), they are easily trimmed shorter. I used a small toothed wood saw. You can even install them full length. The, if off road driving shows them to be too long (impeding full articulation) you can trim them back without removing the springs. But be careful not to nick the coil springs, and don't use a hacksaw. To install, press them into the tubular support with steady pressure with a 2x4 wedged against a body part. They will pop right in.
