Fantastic speaker for the price. My Minimus Pro 77 woofers need new foam and wasn't up for a re-foam at the moment. Tight fit but they worked and sound great.

Works well for my subwoofer replacement on my Logitech surround sound system for my PC, but when I try to take advantage of the higher bass, it begins to rattle. I'm only able to use it when set to a lower setting. I'm not misusing it or anything, it just can't handle a lot of bass.

Replaced a lousy woofer of an older model 2-way acoustic suspension bookshelf speaker with this. Wow, with the properly sized cabinet, this driver has some bass response down to the 40s Hz range (easily able to handle boost with an equalizer) - it’s downright impressive. 5 1/4 inch won’t have much punch/impact but it reaches deep low tones nicely. Midrange has good clarity, but it does sound thinner or less warm than my other set of bookshelf speakers. I found it particularly good for jazz with deep bass tones, rap and hip-hop because can get so low. For vocal /classical / orchestral, I prefer slightly warmer tones than this but, if I didn’t have another set of speakers on the B channel, I probably would not notice - and be totally satisfied with this. It is good.

If you're looking for a replacement woofer for your TCL soundbar with subwoofer, this speaker is good fit with the same experience. The price is good and it's very easy to install, took minutes. Get this only if your woofer blew out and you want the same experience as the OEM sound it came with it.But if your looking for one with good bass for your movies, then this one is not the one. It is better than the OEM woofer it came with which rattle on bass. This one won't rattle but there's no deep bass. It's more of a mid, but I was still expecting a little bit more bass to it.Compared to the OEM woofer, the TCL woofer is 30 watts max, and this one is 60 watts.

This is an excellent replacement subwoofer for my Vizio 5.1 Soundbar Subwoofer box. My Vizio Subwoofer blew out and I found this to be an excellent cost effective replacement. The bass is very good and the difference is minimal compared to the OEM Vizio subwoofer. The original Vizio subwoofer has slightly better bass at lower volume. The Dayton has better bass at higher volume. I think the Dayton handles higher volumes better too. I had to slightly modify the rounded wood and plastic molding edges for a perfect fit. It’s been working great for the last 2 years.
