I should have read the reviews beforehand. Same problem as everyone else. Solenoid stuck and starter ran couple minutes before I could get battery box open and disconnect battery. Called DB electric and no support from them. Told to call Amazon. Eventhough it clearly says 1 year warranty Amazon won't help because it's been over 30 days!!!

Although this has a great manual over ride feature, the electrical solenoid portion did not work on the first one. They sent out a replacement. 2nd one arrived, this one I bench tested and it worked, as in on /off. However, with a load from battery to starter, it locks ON and you have to rush to disconnect battery to turn starter off. If you have money to throw away, go ahead and buy this. They make nice paper weights.

What I disliked about it was it did not work when I plugged up my battery it just cranked and cranked and cranked and cranked my tractor I had to unplug the battery to get it to stop cranking my tractor

We mounted this solenoid in the 48 F1 and it looks good, but about half the time it operates, it sticks in the closed position until we whack it with a screwdriver.

Quick delivery but didn't work properly. At the first couple attempts the solenoid clicked similar to a dead battery. On the 3rd attempt the starter engaged but the solenoid again made excessive noise. The next attempt the solenoid energized and would not cease (starter engaged) until I unhooked the battery. I went to my local auto parts and bought a $12 unit that worked fine.

Old one kept sticking in the on position. So far this one works as advertised and disconnects the power to the starter when you release the start button.

Product hooked up and did not work properly. The current was on both sides of the starter and when connected to battery tried to start the starter without ignition on or started button being pushed.
