Replaced this to get rid of the two limp-mode shifting on my Rancher. This worked great when I installed it. After about three months, it started randomly giving me the error again. It’s getting worse and worse. Tried contacting the manufacturer and no response. Learned another valuable lesson on the importance of buying Genuine Honda.

I had a code 12 on my 2006 Honda Rancher 400 4x4 . This fit perfectly and took care of my issue of code 12 , Not shifting and bad surging in reverse. This was identical to the OEM part and wow the price was right.

This is an exact fit.The wire harness is the correct length and the connector mating is the same.I have only had it in the machine for a few months. I do not use the quad a lot so I cannot comment on reliability or durability. It fixed the ESP flashing and no shifting problem. It was literally about a third of the cost of the Stealership price. I have no reason to believe that it will not last as it is just as stout as the original. Very good deal

So far so good. Arrived very quickly, exact match, installed perfectly. My Honda transmission problems disappeared. Good price. Hope it hold ups over time.
