This product does not go to a motor cycle! Especially a Harley Davidson! This generator goes to a golf cart! Not a 1980 Harley Davidson sportster! I'm extremely upset!

Edit 5/19 - lasted 9 months of light use and bearing burnt up. Destroyed itself and left me stranded.Looks great on the outside and does work but not perfectly machined. The bolt holes for attaching it to the engine don't quite line up. I had to really struggle to get both mounting bolts threaded in correctly and then a lot (too much) force to thread all the way down and get the generator tight against the engine and the gasket. I had been waiting for days for this to arrive and my Harley was down, so I put it on anyways. If I didn't want to ride so bad I would have sent this back. I have the rebuild parts for my Cycle Electric generator on the way. This will be a spare after that, but I would not buy this brand again. Should have spent the $50 or so more to buy better quality.Parts should fit perfectly - not almost....

Product had maybe 2hrs of life then died unfortunately I waited to long and can't even return or replace it

Check the pictures of this part against the generator on your bike. This did bolt up to my 83 XLS Sportster, but I had to machine a spacer to get the input gear to line up properly. Works great, though. Good quality materials.
