The product description is a little bit off. This is not a current sensing relay. It does not have a set of contacts that act upon a certain DC current. This is a transducer, it converts 0-5 Amps DC to a 4-20ma current loop. Testing on the bench it is very accurate. 0 amps through the transducer produces an output current of 3.986ma and 5 amps through the transducer produces an output of 19.989ma. This transducer is not loop powered, it uses direct 24VDC power then produces an active 4-20ma output.
