A Closer Look
SMOOTH TURNING
The 60-degree pointed tapered end relieves tension, and the precise ball bearing design allows for smooth turning and offers more range of motion. The arbor works with any unit that has a #2 morse taper (2MT) tail stock. Check your machine’s user manual for the tail stock taper size to know if 2MT is the correct size for your application (using a center that is too small can be accommodated by using sleeves, but using a center that is too large can damage your workpiece).
EASY TO USE
Place rear taper end on the tail stock and the opposite end in the center drill hole; We recommend applying lubrication oil to bearing prior to each use (not included).
SUPPORT YOUR WORK
Use this well-balanced center to support your work at the tailstock end of your lathe when turning wood workpieces such as bowls and pens. It comes packed inside a two-piece clear plastic protective covering case to ensure safety when not in use.

The lock for the bearing keeps loosening up. I finally put a dab of superglue on the threads, lasted a lot longer, but finally worked loose again.

Thus far, I have zero complaints about this purchase. Looks great, works well, and is accurate in application. Haven't used it a great deal, but when I have it has been exactly what I expected. Well worth the cost.

The live center works great in my craftsman lathe and it is easy to insert and remove. It has handled the stress of being compressed and still spins freely.

I've used center about 20 times so far and seems very durable. Turned couple of large unbalanced bowls and it kept it very true. bearings seems tight and turn smoothly overall very happy with it and highly recommend it

This device arrived on time and packaged very well. As an old time woodworker who appreciates good tools, I find this a very good buy. It is very well machined, the MT fit perfectly, it runs very smoothly and centers quite well. I would certainly recommend this lathe accessory.
