The DDHT has a slick tan design
Installs on your rail with two allen screws (wrench included)
Choose between four reticle patterns
The rear switch allows the user to choose between various reticle patterns. The color options are red and green and can be chosen using the circular dial on the side
The DDHT fits on standard 1913 Mil-spec rails
The DDHT fits on 1913 standard mil-spec rails and requires the brackets to be tightened once properly placed on the rail section.
Uses two allen screws and wrench (included) to tighten.
The DDHT Includes lens cloth for proper cleaning when needed.
Set screw included for zero locking
Using the smaller hex wrench included with the package, you can set the zero lock, only if needed.
Attention: The DDHT zero set screw should only be used if the zero is not holding. If needed, you can turn it 1-2 times clockwise to further lock the zero, only if it is not holding.
The set screw should never be turned until it is "tightened". It is a free floating screw and you can risk damaging the unit if turned more than 1-2 times clocwise.
Elevation adjustment
The DDHT includes the required hex wrench to adjust your elevation. The elevation is based upon the target movement. For example, adjusting "up" means the target moves up, not the reticle.
Windage adjustment
The DDHT windage can be adjust using the included hex wrench. As with the elevation, the windage is based upon the target movement. For example, adjusting "right" means the target moves right, not the reticle.
Fade adjustment & battery
The rotary knob serves three functions:
- Retical color selector (red or green)
- Fade adjustment (brighness)
- Battery compartment for CR2032 batter (included)

Don't be skeptical because of the affordable price: These are great sights! No problems holding zero. Simple to use. Multiple reticles. 2 colors. Because I have a blind spot in my dominant eye, I can't see a single dot. Floaters in both eyes make it even more difficult, so the reticle options in these are a godsend for me. Unless you're a brand-name snob, or have a specific need, save yourself a lot of $$$ and give one of these a try.

This is one heck of a deal!! I fell in love with this thing as soon as I saw the awesome case it came with. Very accurate and needed little to no adjustment before I was plinking targets. As a combat veteran I have had several diff Halo sights myself and some were an insane amount of money. But on the real this sight is LEGIT and is in my thoughts the best product for the money out there !!

WOW! This is a great scope for $40. Seems to be built very sturdy. All aluminum. Installed very quickly and was very easy to sight in. I like that it has several reticles to choose from and you can use red or green. Very easy to choose any of the above. Direction were good and easy to read. Came with 2 batteries and a lenses cloth.

This is a surprisingly good and impressive sight for the money. Probably the best out there in this price range. Don't expect it to match the performance or features of a $300+ optic in every way, but it's pretty darn close at a tenth of the price. I was also really impressed with the quality - it's constructed entirely of very sturdy metal and doesn't feel cheap at all. No flimsy plastic or composite parts like many of its competitors in this price range.My only complaint is that at the maximum brightness setting the reticle gets a little blurry, but it is still perfectly usable. It's plenty bright enough even at the lower settings that you don't need the maximum brightness setting (at least I haven't had to use it yet). Also, the overall design might make the housing act like a scoop or cup and retain dirt/water/sand/mud inside of it if not covered when not in use, but the protection is worth it perhaps (I haven't had any issues with this, it's just something I noticed might happen).All in all, I highly doubt you'll find anything better for the price. It attached it to my Sig MPX Copperhead seamlessly and shot the attached grouping (see image) straight out of the box at about 15 yards without making a single adjustment to zero it in. It mounts easily and very securely. It didn't budge even after the 300+ 9mm rounds I cycled through in a single session at the range.On top of all that it's made by a Veteran Owned company. Being a Veteran myself, I like to support fellow veteran business owners any time I can. In this case, it turned out to be a great choice regardless because of the high quality of this item that I probably would buy even if it was twice the price it currently is.

This red dot looks very well built and work great so far. I like the size and the Dark Flat Earth color that matches DFE color from Magpul.It seems to be pretty solid construction. it comes with two batteries, one spare, and the hardware to install it and adjust it. Looks great in my shotgun.The reason why i'm not giving 5 starts is because my unit came with paint defects. Paint chipping off.BTW I have not shoot my shotgun with the red dot on so I don't know how it will hold the beat.

I recently purchased the "Dagger Defense DDHT Red and Green Dot Reflex sight- Reflex sight optic and substitute for holographic red dot sights” for a custom built AR-15 platform I was creating chambered in 5.56 NATO, or the .223. Now if you're anything like me you're looking for a dot sight that looks good, functions well, and doesn't break your bank account just to look at. This sight, or the model I received, is Tan metallic, so it's tan and a little shiny. Not too shiny, just a little. While the product description does not say so, this sight is shock proof and water proof. Which means so long as you don't hit it with a sledgehammer at over 100ft deep it'll probably continue to function reasonably well. I was impressed with how quickly my order was processed and shipped, and I received just a week shy after ordering. Also the same day I received my order I was contacted by Dagger Defense to ensure that their product was up to their standards, and to correct whatever issues there were if any. Any company that stands behind their product is good by me, and getting contacted to ensure their standard earns a lot of respect. For those that don't know Dagger Defense is a Veteran owned and operated company, and I was really hoping for a knock out product. So after finishing my rifle, I sighted the dot sight and let into it. To clear a few things up, this is a dot sight, not a Holo sight. So long as you retain consistent cheek placement on your stock you will retain consistent accuracy. And I do mean that. I maintained about a three inch group at 150 yards using this sight. I've put about sixty rounds down range and it's held zero very well. The sight comes with an adjustable reticle that can be switched between four different designs. The regular dot, a dot in a circle, a cross, and a hallow cross with a dot in the center. The brightness is adjusted different than most dot sights I've used, it adjusted directly on how much you turn the wheel, this I feel gives you a greater control on the brightness of your sight and something more companies should do. The reticle is crisp and clean on the lower settings but has the power to visible on extremely bright days. I hope this review helps, I highly suggest this product as an affordable dot sight for a 5.56.
