Decided to give these strings a try after reading an interview of Les Claypool where he hyped these strings a lot. Threw them on my fender jazz and thought they were ok. The sound is what you would expect from a light string and they were a lot easier on my fingers when plucking. The only thing that bothered me was how these strings lost their sound and became dull after about a week of light play. I routinely wipe down my strings after every play yet the sound became dull very quickly. I guess if you have the money to replace these strings every week you would probably like them a lot.
