We are always so quick to raise the volume on everything that it is always hard to know what is to loud that its causing damage. This is great way to manage many noise levels where if you are in the music or working out acoustics for a room. What I have also found this use is for finding the lost items that can be triggered to emit a sound this has worked wonders for finding keys, remotes all the time not losing my mind or patience.
