I have other decksavers (and they are great). However, like others have mentioned, this one just doesnt quite fit like it should.

Good fit and feels much sturdier than I was expecting. Wanted to keep dust off when not in use.

I have purchased several decksaver products to protect my desktop gear. I only wish they had decksavers available for more devices. I have never had a problem with any decksavers but I do have one gripe with this one. Although it covers the top of the keyboard it doesn’t cover the from of the keys, allowing dust to enter that way. If not for that I’d definitely give them 5 stars.

For something that's 25% the price of the keyboard it's supposed to protect, I expected a little bit more. While the fit was good. there is about a half inch gap in the front of the cover from where the cover stops and the bottom of the keys. This means that dust can enter and/or a bad spill still has a chance of reaching the keys. Not sure why they designed it this way other than I suspect that wanted to keep the bottom level on all sides. It will do a very good job of protecting direct overhead spills, but it's not perfect. For the money I expected a bit more.

As many others have pointed out, you can practically play the keys under the guard without lifting it up if you have fingernails, and of course that could let in dust and everything else you were buying this for protection from.I'm ok with the gap, it's a limitation of the flat plane they must form these molds to and wanting all the connections in the back to be clear so you don't have to disassemble your whole rig anytime it might sit long enough to collect dust. This atleast lets my cats walk over it like they were always going to anyway but now I can't tell if they have.I've since bought 5 more decksavers for my other instruments, none of which are extremely expensive BUT are all investments in my eye considering the used market is almost higher than the new one at times. And of course these companies will stop making their products before people figure out new ways to use them as has been the case throughout synthesizer history, or people need that older-synth sound as they're too picky to settle on a roland boutique or something from behringer. This is the only one I got for something that isn't an instrument all by itself bc the arturia keystep 37 is the *chef's kiss* of affordable midi controller keyboards.

Bought it anyway. Wanted the protection of the plastic when setting items on top of it. Cut out some clear contact paper to overlap the gap. It’s fine. Not a big deal.

The design is bad AND the manufacturing is bad. The design is bad because there is a gap on the front side that lets in plenty of dust, and the manufacturing is bad because it doesn’t fit correctly and one corner is always popping off. Normally Decksavers are great quality but their Keystep 37 cover is a joke

Keeps your KeyStep like new in great condition and protects it from any dust, spills or even just dropping cables and the like on it. Keeps your product in mint condition. Decksaver is a genius product by my experience.

I have a decksaver for my mpc, and synth, that fit GREAT. However, this one will NOT stay seated on the keyboard. It will pop right back off as if it’s too tight. Waste of 50$ until they re do the mold!
