Given that I work as an editor, it’s not a shocker to learn that I have a ton of books in my house. They are kept not only in bookshelves but also on tabletops and desks and anywhere else they might fit. As a result, bookends are something of a necessity if I want to keep the book spread contained. When it comes to books that are on tabletops and other places in clear view, I prefer to use attractive bookends rather than the industrial looking plain L-shaped kind. These bookends are a nice addition to my collection. Their antiqued look is attractive, but their resin construction means they’re relatively light. Having had one or two toes squashed by heavy bookends falling off a surface, I appreciate the lightness. Thankfully, the height helps keep books in place. They look more high-end than they are, which is a plus in my book (ha ha). I like the interest that they bring to the corner of my living room where they’re perched.

I find these bookends to be unique and interesting. They have a Trojan horse/Ben Hur/gladiator (?) vibe to me. (no clue if that’s anywhere near accurate as I am not a designer nor historian 🙃) Let’s just say….regal, noble steeds. 🙂 They’re heavy and hold books well. The brownish gray color makes them look like metal, although they are made of resin. They add a touch of class to the scene.

These bookends are so nice! They are weighted enough that they can hold up even larger books with no sliding. There are great details on the bookends and they look very high end.

Great quality. Super heavy duty. Awesome looking book ends. My son chose these for his room makeover and I just love his choice. These are a great price and so worth it.
