Why oh why do I have to cut my deeper truck bed mat to fit? Thought they were all cut to fit perfectly. Had to cut front corner off. Had about 5 inches going up the bedside????

This Dee Zee Item#DZ87009 does not fit 2023 Chevrolet Colorado without modifications, it also leaves large gaps in the rear corners near the tailgate.The length is correct, but you will need to trim the front on the passenger side which is not a big deal but the gaps near the tailgate are too much for my liking.

Using this for the back of my 2008 Tahoe when the rear seats are removed. You will have to trim down the sides to get it to fit width wise but no issues with the length. It seems to stay in place just fine so you could cut out holes for the third row seat connections allowing you to keep the mat in with the seats installed.

I like the overall quality in this bed mat. I had one for my previous truck and it served me well . I bought this mat for a new Canyon although it was for previous year Canyon. It is almost a perfect fit without trimming. I highly recommend this product for durability along with price. My vehicle is a 2023 Canyon.

Over a month later update: this mat still has a VERY STRONG odor to it. I still say this is a very thick and strong mat and can hold up to just about anything you place on it. BUT GEEZ, IT STILL STINKS.______________________________________________________________________________________________UpDate: It has been several days now. Well over a week. The mat still smells quite strongly. All in All I still say this is a good mat.......just be prepared for a strong odor coming from it lasting for A WHILE.____________________________________________________________________________________________Product packed well by shipper. Arrived on time. I am no authority on how mats like this are supposed to be but in my opinion this is a VERY NICE mat. It seems to be of heavy weight and it fits VERY WELL. I have a 2021 Canyon and seems to be a perfect fit. It does have a smell but it is of a rubber like material so I would assume that to be expected. I have a bed cover also so will let the mat air out. I would recommend this brand of mat; and compared to the costs of others I would say it is a GOOD BUY.

Once you make sure you have the right size for your truck, you are on easy street. The Amazon website makes it easy to make sure you are ordering the mat that will fit your truck! Goes in super easy. Nice and thick. Have had it now for a couple months. The thing that most impresses me outside of the protection of the truck bed, is the grip the mat has to keep things in place like a crate with vehicle accessories in it, crates or boxes with groceries, scrapers , walking poles, etc. You really can count on things not sliding around and making any noise, etc. Can't really think of anything that disappoints me with this purchase! Mine went into my new 2021 Chevy Colorado WT.

I wanted a spray in liner but can't justify the cost versus what I actually haul in my 2019 Colorado, I decided on a rubber mat and liked the reviews I read on this.The mat reduces slip due to its texture and is a perfect fit in my bed, goes around the wheel wells perfectly. The mat does also have raised dimples to allow water to go under and out the beds drain holes.A added bonus was I decided to opt for a used one which was about $20 cheaper and it was flawless, not saying all are but it appears from a note in the mat from the previous owner stated he ordered the wrong size. A win for me!
