About this item

  • Clear Glass will not scratch
  • Easy Exterior Mount
  • Quiet
  • Magnetic Catch

36" x 11 1/2" Fully Framed Sash Window. Clear Glass. This deer blind window has slotted drain holes and a 3/4” flange around the entire window with pre-drilled holes for mounting. You’ll also enjoy two cabinet-style hinges that allow the window to swing up, a magnet-mounted on the frame to secure to the wall when open, and two swivel clips to fasten it closed. It can be made to hinge horizontally or vertically for gun or bow hunting. It is extremely quiet with little to no noise while opening and closing. NOTE: To allow for the window hinge correctly, the wall thickness should be no more than 2 inches. Instructions for mounting: 1. Add 1/8 inch to the height and length of the size window you purchased. Ex: A 36x11 1/2 window would need a rough opening of 36 1/8x11 5/8 for a proper fit. 2. Cut the hole needed. 3. Run a weatherproof caulk or use weather-stripping around the inside flange. 4. Place the window assembly through the opening and secure the outside wall using screws or bolts and nuts. 5. From inside the blind, raise the window up and secure a metal magnet holder on the wall to line up with the magnet on the window.

I’ll explain the bad first and get that out of the way. While it’s not a terrible product or anything. It has a few short comings that I’d like to point out. Number one, the frame needs to be one solid welded piece. It’s screwed together in the corners and that’s just something else i had to notch out for. Since it’s not solid you have some flex. You don’t want to have a tight fit. The pressure of squeezing it in will cause the window frame to flex enough that it causes the window to become jammed and you’ll never open it without breaking the glass trying to free it. Two, the magnets that pin the window open are garbage. If you’re trusting them to keep the glass held open you’re going to end up bump the window/wall/ floor/chair/ hard wind rocks the stand or maybe you have a guest hunting or kids hunting. The bottom line is you’re going to be wearing glass when it’s bumped and drops free. Doesn’t take much to make it drop free. It should be one nice solid magnet or something else differently all together not two little slivers of magnets that dances in the housing. Thirdly it doesn’t come with any type of seal gasket you’ll need to purchase that separately to add around and underneath the outside frame. And lastly, is the price with shipping. Yeah, it was a bit more than I would’ve liked to paid. Had I known it wasn’t one solid constructed outer frame. I’d probably ended up passed on this window just due to the price. Now for what I like about it. Again, it not a terrible product or anything. It’s put together pretty decently. It’s really good looking after it’s installed and the window isn’t pinched shut. lol you should get weather protection around the outside cut edges just remember to add sealant or get something like weather stripping to go underneath the frame. It’s a good looking window and will do a good job once it’s sealed in place and fine another means to prop the window up.

Worked in my blind. They're not the thickest of glass or the most heavy duty but I'd say the price is fair for what you get minus the shipping cost. Extremely easy to install.
