These are like a typical fabric like what you would use for plug in essential oil diffusers. The wick is designed to soak up whatever you put on it and hold the smell for hunting or whatever you decide to use it for.I can't say how well it will work for hunting until I can use it in the field. As with anything like this, it is individual preference, area you are hunting, and hunting animal population.

If you have ever purchased any lure wicks, you know that they can be ridiculously expensive for just a few. I now have 50 of them for a very good price. This will last me a very long time.They are a good size for dipping into a scent bottle and have a open hole in the top for putting them on a small branch easily. Perfect.
