I purchased two of these coils in September 2022 for my Kawasaki FH531V motor. They lasted 2-1/2 years, which, while not great, is at least tolerable. By March of 2025, one of the coils had failed so I ordered a second set. The second set lasted less than TWO MONTHS. I noticed that several users have reported similar symptoms: the engine begins to sputter and die after an hour or two of use, indicating a heat problem. Very disappointed in the poor quality. The genuine Kawasaki coils are around $60 each but may be worth the extra money to avoid the frustration of frequent failures.Update: One indication of the faulty coil (particularly on a twin cylinder motor) is how your engine loses power, sputters, and then dies, especially under a load. Another way is to remove both spark plugs. If you see that one is fouled and blackened while the other is fairly clean, chances are you've got a faulty ignition coil. In my experience, inexpensive coils with a 50% failure rate just aren't worth buying and I won't be purchasing them again. I just installed genuine Kawasaki coils and the 22 year old motor is running great again.
