If you are like me and are eternally looking for something to entertain your Umbrella Cockatoo for more than five minutes, then you may consider this product.The chew toy is quite large and a good value for the money. There are substantial pieces of wood, both natural and dyed in different shapes, as well as plastic balls for variety and visual interest.The only change I would make on this item is to make the center support string a chain or cable. I say this because it took my U2 a day to figure out that all he needed to do was to chew through that string and he had the entire toy disassembled.If I had a non-cockatoo medium parrot, this would be a great purchase.For cockatoo owners, the breakdown of my three stars is:Value: 4Quality: 3 (4 for wood, 2 for center string)Entertainment: 4 ( while it lasts)Durability: 3If I can find something to run down the middle as a secondary support before I give this to my bird, I will purchase again!

My cockatoo, Percy, loves his new chew toy! Normally, Percy can destroy a chew toy in a few minutes, but this one has been challenging! A week later, and he is still working on it; I highly recommend it!

My African Grey liked this and it's keeping him busy for now. He has been working on it a couple of days. Not sure if I'll buy again....maybe if on sale. I would pay $20 but $30 seems high for this toy.If you are ok with the price; go for it. I may try another toy from the same seller that is not as expensive.

My umbrella cockatoo absolutely loves this. It is so different from the traditional wood blocks. She loves to pick it apart. It lasts a long time. This is the second one I have purchased. Will be buying them on a regular basis.

The picture certainly makes it look bigger than it is. It does keep my umbrella cockatoo amused for a little bit. She seems to be particular about which nuts she cracks open. It's one of the longer lasting toys she's had. Have bought it twice now.

This large bird toy is jam packed with lots of fun chew items for your active bird.I purchase all my bird toys for my aviary from Amazon and this particular toy kept my Quaker busy. The toy is sturdy, has a great clip for cage hanging and has items that challenge his active lifestyle. He talks a lot as he forages through the pieces to nibble on.The quality and price keep me shopping at Amazon for all my bird products. Retailers or other bird web sites can’t compete with Amazon’s bird toy selections, availability, speediness of delivery and mainly, pricing.

We bought this for our 28 year old Blue and Gold Macaw because we were going to be handing him off to a house sitter while we visited our daughter for 8 days. Frankie usually has the run of the house but we decided he needed to be in lock down while we were gone. We wanted something to keep him busy and to take out his frustrations on when his demands to let out were not meet. When we returned on day 8 the toy showed wear and tear, LOL, but about 25% of the wood pieces were still attached. It took him another week to rip those up, he went slower since his favorite toys (us) were home again. :) Nice job, I will be back for more.
