Worked well. Wish it 2 of each hose adaptor. Picked another 90 degree fitting up locally.

The pump worked well and was fairly quiet for 6 months until it leaked fuel all over the garage floor leaking fuel from the electrical leads going into the fuel pump itself.

Like another reviewer, I installed on 85 Nissan 720, but this would work for pretty much any external fuel pump on a carbureted engine.

Installed on 1983 Nissan 720 Pickup.Pump works great. They send different adapter sizes, and fuel lines, but I didn't use the fuel lines. Might come in handy for some though. My old pump, the housing was the ground and my harness ground was bolted to the housing bolt. I bolted this pump ground and the harness ground to the frame. My pump had 2 mounting bolts, this has 1. Just different, but it works fine. This is a universal pump after all, in just speaking what I did for this truck. My only concern is that the fuel line off this pump extends below my old pump's safety cage. Not an issue yet, but I am nervous it could get nicked by a rock or something. Again, no this pump's fault, just my application. I could find a 90⁰ elbow and fix this issue. My only gripe is not a big one. Installation instructions... some pump's say to mount horizontally, this pump doesn't indicate how it can be mounted except to put it so far below the top of the tank. My old pump was vertical. I was able to tilt this some to fit in the old cage, but I don't know if an almost vertical mount is ok or not because the instructions don't indicate that specifically. But so far it works and it's about 2⁰ off from vertical. So far though no leaks and it gets gas to the 4 cylinder engine

1). Pump had to be reworked to get it to stop leaking at "out" female ports. No matter what was tried I could not get it to stop leaking. Finally determined that the female threads were either not deep enough or the ID of the hole was to big and the provided amount of thread sealant was not going to stop it from leaking. Fortunately I have a 1/4 NPT tap and tapped the hole another 1/8" deeper or so and that stopped the leak. In a perfect world I would have returned the pump once the leak was discovered but I really needed this now to complete the project so I elected to rework it instead - and spent an extra 1-1/2 hours disassembling and repairing it. Certainly I should not have had to do what I did to repair such an obvious defect. 2). It's a miracle the pump wasn't damaged in shipment. Whoever packed it just grabbed the pump (in it's thin cardboard box) and threw it into a larger shipping box. No bubble wrap, no pillows, no paper wrap. Nothing at all to keep the pump from bouncing around in the carton while in transit. The shippers should know better. The good news however is that the pump works quite well and met all my function and fit expectations so I'm giving it 3 stars.
