The replacement belt is wider and fit very nicely. The sander no longer stalls with moderate to heavy pressure. Would highly recommend. The longevity remains to be seen; the belt has only been in use for about a week.

This is my second attempt at purchasing a replacement belt for my Delta 31-460-C sander. Same as last time the belt is too long. I have made a modification to the motor mount to make it work but I do not recommend this for safety reasons. I have tried researching this on Delta's web site but they no longer have any information about this sander. I suspect that it is obsolete.

I got this old Delta 4” belt sander from my grandpa. Seriously, this thing is old. So I was happy to find replacement belt that fits and works. It’s a bit skinnier than the OEM belt but it works just as fine. I’ve been using it for about two months now.

hopefully you can read the specs on your old belt then search amazon for the correct part. i got my info from web parts site with pics / descriptions and it was the wrong part . glad we can rely on the professionals . amazon shipping was fast and no problem with my return
