Super happy to receive this. Our shower faucet is a peerless model and this handle has the rectangular hole to receive the pin. Locally we are told they are no longer carrying this model. Nice to know it is still available. Thanks so much!

Fit well. The screw was a millimeter longer so I had to use the old one. Looks as good as the original part.

Local big box stores stopped carrying this product that I needed. Glad to find them on Amazon--ordered one more to save for the future. Make sure you have the correct model number. I bought one similar design, but the the connection to the brass faucet did not fit since it was for a different model.

This was the perfect replacement for our previous handle that had gotten really grungy and was cracked in many places. The only suggestion I would have for the seller is to make the details a bit clearer as I found some conflicting information in the comments provided by others. This is a single, center screw that turns from right to left to control the water temperature from cold to hot. It was very easy to install and probably took less than 5 minutes to get the old handle off and install this one which really makes a big difference in appearance.

Plumber wanted to charge us $1,300 to replace our faucet. Honest plumber gave us this Model # and hubby put it on easily. Very sturdy and works great!!

This faucet handle fit perfectly to replace my 1980 model Delta brand one. The original was a smokey colour and this clear one brought it to current day, along with the rest of the updates. It has the small rectangle shaped slot in the middle that slides over the post, which was impossible to find locally. Plus, the water temperature cap is exactly what I needed to suit the type of on/off I have (see pic).

Original quality, which can be damaged by turning too hard when operating. This model has a centre mounting hole and can only be turned left or right to control temperature, and always runs at full volume or off. (The other model moves up and down for volume and left/right for temperature, and has an offset and angled mounting hole.)

Delta has a terrible web site for figuring out what part you have. So this may help you.I have a house built in 1999, with four bathroom showers. All use the same cartridge, an RP19804. Well, there's not a whole lot to say. This was a quality replacement OE part from Delta that has a rectangular hole, and not a diamond hole, for the set screw. This was a nice replacement and brightened up the shower a bit from the older and a bit mildewed existing knob. It fit exactly and has no play. It came with the knob, the set screw, and the set screw cap with hot/cold indicator. This product is affordable, and I am quite pleased with the purchase.

Lowe's Home Depot were charging 30+ for a universal kit for replacement. I was replacing the RP48717 handle (previously mentioned in these reviews as having a design flaw, creating an exposed allen screw to rust over time.) This was discovered while investigating a leaking showerhead and replacing the valve. I have the Delta 1400 unit. I had a heck of a time getting the rusted screw off. Once the old handle was removed, I had a difficult time getting the replacement knob, H71, completely on. There is a spacer in the chrome shaft. This plastic spacer must be removed when using the H71 as the knob will not go on completely. After figuring this out, it works like a charm. highly recommend. fast deliveryThis "kit" is not accurately pictured. ordering this ASIN will only get you the knob, screw, and screw protecter for the front of the knob, not the chrome ring that lays flush with the tub.

I had the same experience as The Guru. My chrome handle just spun around in a circle, yet I could not remove the set screw to save my life. I ended out destroying the handle and the cartridge to get it off.I chose this H71 handle for my replacement and I am glad that I did. The screw is protected (in the front).If you want to keep it simple and inexpensive, this is a good choice for the 1300/1400 Delta unit.
