These diverters and this entire Delta system is crap. Normally, I have to replace this part every few months as the black rummer gasket breaks and wears out. This one lasted less than 48 hours ... two showers. I am desperate for one that will last.

Old one that was in the wall was missing the rubber sleeve on the backend. Bought this with next day shipping and fixed my problem instantly! Great product if you have a delta shower valve!

I tried a replica from a different online shopping/auction site and this genuine cartridge is millions of times better. Don't fall for a lower price on a replica product. This one goes in smoothly and operates smoothly with zero leakage, it's such an improvement that is noticed daily.Update: like some others reported, this fails every couple of months. The large black rubber part tears. I am asking my gf to leave the diverter in the last used position when done with the shower, to reduce the number of times it's operated to see if that helps.

This product works and fits perfectly. I tried the Danco 7S-4D as a substitute and it would not fit. Use only the Delta Part, the after market parts don't work, they will not fit.

This perfectly fit the faucet and restored used. I have tried the Danco and other aftermarket parts and they don't fit correctly and wear out very quickly. The Delta genuine part is the only one that worked!

Received this part in very reasonable time. The fit was perfect very easy installation. Took about ten minutes to install and worked great. Hope this one lasts over thirty years....
