The faucet was okay, but the "sealed" plastic bag it was in had obviously been torn open and the large O-ring that goes on the brass adapter was missing. I just bought one from the hardware store, rather than return the whole spout.

Purchased it, to replace our original one that was over 17 years old, and the only thing that is negative about this one, is that we have to push down on the lever, once we are done our showers. It doesn’t happen automatically, as it should. That’s the reason I gave it a four star review.

I ordered this spout to replace my 12 year old original Leland tub spout. The original lasted 12 years and never gave me a problem until the diverter gasket failed. I installed the new replacement spout and in less than 5 seconds the new spout gasket blew out blowing water everywhere. I called Delta customer service about my problem and the customer service rep blamed me for installed the spout wrong. I told her that it is physically impossible to install it wrong; it just screws on!!! After arguing for a few minutes they agreed to send a replacement. This replacement (now the 2nd new spout) had the gasket blow out in less than 3 minutes!!! These spouts are nothing more than junk. I guess I will install an aftermarket diverter since the OEM Delta parts are such poor quality. DO NOT BUY...

Bought this as a replacement faucet, as the existing faucet I had broke and enough time has passed that the original model/set is now discontinued.This paticular faucet works fine, except for one little peculiarity--have to pull up and hold the pull-up diverter (basically play around with it) until it eventually will stay in position so that the water can be diverted to the shower head. Pretty annoying.It does the job, but not seamlessly.

I ordered this tub spout to match good quality Delta faucets used in a shower remodel. Realized after installation that it leaks large quantities of water out of the spout ( and down the drain) while water should be coming out of the shower head only. The diverter parts inside spout are all plastic. Not the quality that I thought I was ordering and now it's not returnable! Almost $50 totally wasted. We will need to replace it to stop wasting water.
