We took this fan camping with us this Summer and the kids were fighting for it! The misting function is so much better than just a fan. Sometimes rechargeable is great, but not in the heat of Summer! It just takes about 30 seconds to get back staying cool!Ours worked great! The water bottle did not leak. It does a great job of misting the water. Great little fan!

We took this on vacation and it turned out to be very sturdy. After bouncing around in our kid's backpack for 7 days it worked just as well as it did on day one. It holds a significant amount of water, the mister is easy to use and delivers a nice amount of mist, and the fan has good speed. I was impressed it made it through our week's worth of wear and tear!

This little fan has been fantastic for when I am at my child's outdoor lessons and it has helped her to stay cool with this heat. It’s not a sprinkler or pouring water out. The mist is what I need to make it through. My clothes don’t get wet and I’m not soaked from it. The fan part is loud, I think most fans are loud but sometimes even the spritzing fan is enough to help me cool down. We will be going away to Florida for a vacation. Standing in long lines outdoors we will be needing these. I’ll be getting more for the family to take.

This spraying fan is a great idea, but I'm only giving it 3 stars because the sprayer pump was defective when it arrived and I spent most of the afternoon thinking it was totally broken. My husband and I both spent way too much time trying to figure out where the problem was, but now it seems to be working fine. The "instructions" on the box it came in are bizarre. They say to unscrew and open the battery compartment door, put the batteries in, then screw it back in again. I was looking for the right sized screwdriver and asked my husband, and all he did was easily pull the little lid for the battery compartment, put in the batteries, and close it up again in less than a minute. There was nothing to screw and unscrew. I don't understand what those instructions were all about, unless there's more than one model for these fans. Anyway, after he opened the battery compartment we were able to figure out that the sprayer mechanism was in the center between the two batteries, and the sprayer was crooked and off track. He tried to get it back on track, and then I tried it, and somehow between the two of us we got it working. I'm just not sure how long it'll stay on the track...

If you're spending your summer day sitting in the heat of the sun watching the longest ball games possible then this misting fan will be your new best friend and will help you make some new best friends too! This fan is easy to operate, 2 AA batteries go in, twist the bottom off, add water, twist back closed, power on and spray. The spray is light and easy which is perfect for cooling off when you have no breeze, no shade, and no relief from the hot summer sun and 5 hours of ball games. Even with ball park sand in abundance, this fan has stood up to the challenge of cooling is off. It has been dropped in the dugout, thrown in a ball bag, and used by every member of the team. One fill up will last a whole game.

My kids were obsessed with these but they don't last too long. They aren't expensive but they also aren't built to last. Either the spray mechanism stops working or the fan but this one last the last few weeks of the summer and is now put away till next year. Hopefully it lasts (which it has so far) but you can tell it's not that well made but same as every other brand we've bought. Happy with it though as we needed it and it performed.
