I put this in a 04 4runner v8 and it fit great. No leaks and works great. Hopefully it will last.

The engineers of the vehicles that this fits in should have to come and install it. This is NOT a DIY project for the part-time mechanic! Basically you will have to remove the "entire" dash and all related items there-in to get access to the housing that this goes into. Once you get to that part it is relatively easy to install. However, now you have to put everything back together without losing or breakng any parts , which is virtually not going to happen. So, if you are getting it to do yourself, I do not recommend it. Otherwise have FUN! :)

So far so good.its only been a month. had a professional shop do the job. Buy the part myself it did help me save a few bucks. If you buy this you also need the expansion valve. I guess it's part of the job.

No leaks worked great cheaper than the dealer for the same brand , this was installed on my 06 4Runner
