As advertised. When you go into this job, bring light and patience. Its difficult. You'll have to take off the exhaust gas connecting hose from the valve cover to get to the coil end of the wires. Make sure to take a picture of wires before taking them off. Most importantly buy new spark plug wire separators to go with this job...like the ones installed are old and will break when old cables are removed. Like mine did. All of them. Also important-the new wires ARE longer than the factory wires which is a reason you will need the new separators.

So I've been taking Uber for the past 3 days to get to/from work while my car's been parked on the street due to a cylinder #3 misfire. It happened while I was driving to work a couple weeks ago, but at the time, I didn't know what the exact problem was. The engine's check light was flashing while the car was accelerating accompanied by major engine hesitation/shake. I made it to work but after that I decided to have it towed to my home because I didn't want to risk damaging the engine and/or other components. When I got home that day, I took my car to the local mechanic and after checking the codes they said cylinder #3 was misfiring. I asked them if they could fix it, and they said it would cost $270 to replace the plugs and ignition cables. Since I'm a pretty good Shadetree mechanic, I declined and picked up my car and parked it on the street in front of my home. I then ordered these Denso wires and waited a couple days for it to arrive. I already had new Denso double Platinum plugs which I'd ordered about a year ago still in the box waiting to be installed. If I hadn't procrastinated and installed the plugs back then this wouldn't have happened. Today I installed the plugs/wires and the engine is running great. In the end I saved $200 from paying a shop for the fix, but ended up paying for round trips via Uber for 3 days plus towing the car from work to home. I have AAA roadside assistance, but free towing is capped at 7 miles so I had to pay $24 for the two additional miles that wasn't included. Adding the total cost of Uber and towing together was still under $200.

Not sure what happened. The quality seemed fine, but the wires were maybe 3 inches too long, and the wires were also to thin. My old wires were maybe 7mm in diameter these are I believe 5mm, so they are 2mm too lose in the wire separators. Other than that the boots and connectors fit fine.I sent them back and bought an NGK set, which did the trick.2000 Camry, 4 cylinder, distributorless ignition.

I ordered this to replace the old spark plug wires on my 2001 Camry as the engine was misfiring. The car is now running better than before. If you have sluggish acceleration try replacing these.

Fit perfectly 2001 4cyl Camry LE gasoline. These Denso's don't have the wires individually numbered like OEM Sumitomo but the OEM dealer price was $140, so no numbers not a problem for the price of the Denso's. Also, the Denso #1 #2 longer wires were same length, not exact length like OEM but again, not a problem; they fit fine and are working great. I can buy 3 sets of the Denso's for 1 set of OEM from the dealer, so I think these Denso's will be just fine. I did buy the Denso plugs from the dealer, so I thought the Denso wires would be a good match.
