This mask is exactly as described. There are only a few improvements that could be made to make this a 5 star for me. First, the mesh is so good! It keeps dust and tiny gnats out of the eyes. Far superior mesh compared to other brands. I love the reflector part around eyes it makes it easy to find horse or mask. Easy to get on your horse without the noise of Velcro for horses that fear the ripping sound. I have a Colombian Paso Fino and I purchased the cob/arab size (M) and it fit her perfectly. Now the negatives (which are minor). I would love to see them improve this mask even further. My horse gets constant eye ulcers and allergy to sun and bugs. The big bug eye mesh actually is so bunched up it doesn’t fully protect or stay off the eye completely especially if they rub. It would be fantastic to have a way to let the bug eyes stay firmly off the eye area. The other improvement would be a forelock hole. I just reached in and pushed forelock hair together. Overall I’m very happy with this mask and I’ll see how long it holds up and works long term with her eye issues.

I have a horse that rubs every fly mask off except this one. The fabric is sturdier and the eyes are really big for better vision. It washes well and very well made.

I bought the pony size for my mini donkey and its way too big. He won't grow into it either. The only reason I didnt return it is because I'm going to find someone who can alter it to fit my donkey.

Finally a fly mask, where the mesh is strong enough to stay out and away from horses eyes. Very tight , so my boy didnt move after 2 min I took it off and gave this one ( in LARGE ) to a smaller horse in the barn and ordered an XL Size for my regular WB size horse's head. Happy Horse now. Great Quality !!!

Everything I've loved about the old versions, plus a forelock hole! Reflective, and stays away from the eyes. The uv protection and tight fabric make it ideal for my horse with head shaking syndrome.Would love to see a version without the ears

I bought two of these masks, although not from Amazon, for my miniature horses of which I have four. I have a colt who likes to tug on everyone’s mask and I was hoping these would solve the problem. The mask were nice and well made but were much too large for my minis. I did buy the XS(miniature), and couldn’t believe how these swallowed their heads. I do have a larger 38” mini but it was still not snug on her. I was so disappointed as these masks were nice and lightweight but why the company thinks the XS would fit a mini, I don’t know.

I had to retire mine because my mare is a head rubber and she consistently slipped it off her head. I switched to DuraMask Arab and it has been the best fit, best quality that I have used with her. It stays on and she hasn't rubbed the the fibers out in the area of her eyes. The Darby is a sleek, good-looking fly mask and if your horse doesn't rub its face on everything, then I would highly recommend the Darby.
