Hand made man made stone. Triple fired to over 1200c. Extruded, not caste, so very strong and durable.

Because of the nature of glazing clay, we have to leave the underside of the slide unglazed.
*Due to each slide being hand crafted, please expect a very slight variance in size, colour and line density.
Unsure? Go for Medium.
There is no ‘one size fits all’ when it comes to slides.. however, the Medium size slides will work for nearly everyone.
The Medium will fit most people’s ring finger, either right down to the low knuckle or snug to the middle knuckle.. and if it doesn’t fit there, it will fit on the little finger.

I searched all the surrounding music stores and no one had any. In fact the salesman at GUITAR CENTER said he never heard of one. What’s that tell you. I love this slide. All my others are retired permanently

I've purchased over a dozen slides in the past few years & this is the only slide that has fit *any* of my finges (4th finger in this case). Every other brand either won't fit past the knuckle on my ring finger, or threatens to fly off my 4th, mid levee breaks. Those scenarios make precision slidework very difficult, if not imposible. These are a tad pricier, but worth every penny for playability's sake, (plus cost most likely higher due to material & the artwork*.(*Variety request... male customers... just sayin' ; ^ }

For me the slide needs to be heavier. I found I needed to apply a slight pressure as opposed to just letting the slide rest on the strings..

Un eccellente slide fatto a mano a Glastonbury, in Inghilterra.Realizzato in ceramica, si presenta incredibilmente solido ed estremamente curato nei dettagli.Arriva in una confezione contenente lo slide ed un sacchettino nero per il trasporto.La finitura esterna laccata lucida conferisce una scorrevolezza molto fluida e silenziosa.Anche l'interno è lucido (dunque NON poroso). Non lo considererei un difetto, in quanto andremmo ad avere una comodità ed una traspirabilità identica a quella che si ha col metallo o con il vetro. L'interno poroso avrebbe potuto (forse) rovinare un po' l'estetica generale del prodotto, davvero interessante.Il materiale (ceramica) garantisce sonorità intermedie tra quelle ottenibili utilizzando bottlenecks di vetro e di metallo. Il peso non è eccessivo, e proporzionato alle dimensioni.Dopo parecchie ore di utilizzo, non ho ancora riscontrato alcun graffio o segno di usura.Assolutamente consigliato... e da tenere in bella mostra! ★★★★★

Not that I'm into blondes, but you get the reference. I love my glass Rock Slide. It fits great and give me very good tone. But, especially on the bass strings, glass can sound a bit subdued. Metal is too screechy for my taste.This ceramic slide is within a couple of grams weight (42 vs 44 grams), and fits the same as the Rock Slide. Yet it gives me a bit more aggressive tone than the glass. Not a bit screechy either. Highly recommend.I want to get a second, but wish Amazon carried one of the other colors.

Not a bad slide at all. Better than most I've used over the last few years. I still prefer my Dunlop Boneyard slide and Rock Slide glass slide; in some indefinable way they just feel better. However, I will continue to use this on a regular basis, as the mood dictates.

This is the best slide I've had to date. It looks as good as in the photos and fits my little finger nicely, early indications on an acoustic 6 string are that it creates a warmer tone than other glass and steel slides I've tried. That I really like it will make me more determined to learn to play slide.
