I love to write and i have more notebooks then the average person should. My family always laughs and makes jokes about keeping me away from the office aisles with the notebooks and pens. But it’s literally changed since i gotten this notebook i absolutely love this book my pens don’t bleed through and i love juicy bold inks usually a fountain pen and there’s no bleeding or ghosting on the other side. The cover is every minimalist and maximalist dream. Can be left as is or decorated however you want with the little cover. comes in multiple sizes and page types want plain they got it, prefer graph that too and then bullet journal lovers they got you too with the dots. Then for the ol fashioned type like me they have the good old typical lined paper. I absolutely love this brand of little notebooks . I’m left handed so the fact that this actually lays flat makes it so much easier for me to write. The pages are smooth and have a nice thickness to them.

Some of the smoothest paper I’ve ever used, and the plastic cover keeps it clean. The thickness of the paper is decent enough to prevent significant bleed through, only darker color inks from my fountain pen will really be noticeable on the next sheet. Extra fine nibs seem to work the best with this paper but I can get up to medium nibs and still have a good experience.

Arrived damaged. I don’t want to deal with the hustle of returning it so I’m just going to keep it. I would advise to unclick the option to ship in manufacturers packaging. I suspect that may have added to the condition it arrived in. I probably would repurchase this notebook again from a different retailer. Midori products are wonderful.

Midori products are superb, but you have to remove all of the packaging from both the cover and notebook - they not only fit midori notebooks, but many other brands as well. Excellent.

I got this combo pack so that I'd have a cover for my new notebook. Unfortunately, the cover is too small for the notebook, and the notebook won't sit flat with the cover on it. I think the cover needs to be a few milimeters larger for it to fit proper.

- Regarding using fountain pen, this Midori notebook is much better than Moleskine and MUJI notebooks. The same ink (noodler black) is less likely to be feathering on Midori. Writing experience is very enjoyable.- The cover works very well. Easy to install. Not easy to fall apart. Very good.- Based on the instruction, the side tab is to insert a label for archival/highlighting purpose, rather than attaching pens. Nevertheless, I tried and it works well.Highly recommend. I will purchase more.

The notebook is beautiful and up to par with the other comments, however it does not make sense to sell this item as a combination including a notebook and a notebook cover when the cover doesn't fit. Since I don't have the smaller-sized notebooks, the cover is useless until I eventually get them.The assumption that the cover would fit was my bad, and yes, the dimensions are accurately shown for each item in the description; however, the different sizes should be more easily found within the product description.
