I got this for my art student daughter who loves playing with different mediums. This is an impressive kit to look at, with nice accessories and designs. My daughter was enjoying this at first and was impressed with how easily and smoothly it worked. She started with the cat's face and worked her way down. As she did, the tool began to loose some of it's shape and the paper began ripping and curling (pic). She swapped out tools, but it still tore and ripped. Instead of being a relaxing activity it became an exercise in frustration. For that reason I would not buy again, nor would I recommend.

I did not realize the scratch art set by Desinik would be so large! The item description does not match the title of the item so I wasn’t sure what size would arrive. It’s the 16 x 11 inches size, not the 12 x 8 inches. The posters are sturdy.The tools included are a variety of scratchers and are well constructed. Since they have different sharpness, you should start out gentle with each tool to see what works for you.I look forward to scratching this art with the kids I babysit. Since it’s so large, it will be easy for each kiddo to work on their section but yet still be together.
