Use only small power strips.Anything too thick will break the mount however superglue seemed to work.

Just the type of unit that I would need. It was either this before even seeing this particular item. Or I would just rig something together. Works exactly and it is bendable.

Easy to clamp on my desk and holds the power strip securely. The angle makes it very usable and all of the plugs are accessible.

This bracket enables you to add a power strip to your desktop with great ease (use the clamp to secure the power strip in place and then the table clamp to secure the bracket to your desk). This bracket is ideal for anyone who doesn't want to have to reach down onto the floor to plug a device into their power strip. With many power strips now coming with a combination of UK 3-pin sockets and USB sockets, this offers a great desktop power solution.

There is one thing to remember. This clamp will not adjust down to smaller than 2.55" or go larger than 4.13" width. It will not hold something smaller or larger than these widths. This clamp is meant for a larger/wider power strip. The clamp is sturdy, holds onto the wide power strip and the desk tightly and does exactly what it is supposed to do. I was extremely satisfied with the quality of this item and would recommend it to others.

βThis is a really well thought out ittle gadget that I didn't know I needed until I got it!Using this device, I've been able to lift the power strip formy latop and chargers off the floor and onto the side of my desk, making everything ever so much neater and easier to work with.I was fortunate in that the majority of leads that I wanted to plug into the power strip are fairly flexible, but if I had needed to plug devices with thicker, more inflexible, cables in then I would have struggled because of the limited clearance beneath the plugs. This, I think, is because it is actually engineered for use in the States where leads coming out of the back of plugs (rather than into the sides) is much more common.I tried the device in my office and sure enough one of the plugs struggled. I therefore got a small block of wood (20mm thick) and sandwiched it between the top of the clamp and the desk to lift the clamp clar of the desk and everything worked perfectly. I've attached a couple of photos to show what I mean. This is a brilliant little gadget that will be extremey useful in my home office.

2.5mm thick metal in the medium size. If you need more space below for cable like the side exit UK plugs you can put a block of something as a spacer on the top surface of the desk under the upper clamp.

I have a lot of items on my desk - and about 8 things i need plugged in constantly. This is all of course including the fact that I have a raisable desk due to wanting to walk while working. Having this nice little outlet clamp helps keep everything organized, and stops me from accidentally pulling something out of the socket while getting my move on. I've seen some reviews of this being ugly in plain view, but i think it looks unique and doesn't take away from most desi esthetic's

When I first looked at this I thought that's a good idea so I ordered it, I have a four socket extension lead resting on the window sill with my printer, chargers etc plugged into, it constantly get's knocked off onto the floor, now it's fixed solid, I can even pull a plug out one handed as I don't need to hold the extension. It can be fitted anywhere around the desk provided there is enough edge to fit the clamp, where I have mine fitted on the side the foot is just over half way on but it still holds tight. This is certainly a solid little clamp but the plugs have to go in upside down because there is not enough room between the bottom of the plug clamp and the desk surface to allow space for the cables to bend, although with plugs such as chargers this is not the case as they don't have a cable.

Clever and easy to use gadget for power strips that - slightly - falls foul of Britain's plug designs! The clamp is just under 6cm meaning that it will fit many desks, but at best can be shoved and forced onto the rail on an IKEA Galant. It's stable and secure even at that. The rubber grips inside the power strip section hold it well, even at an angle.Holding at an angle is important, because British plugs angle down - if you want access to switches you'll either want to put the plugs upside down with cables exiting above, or angle the strip to create a gap.For the price it's a quick non-destructive solution for holding power cables, and I suspect it has scope for holding things like USB hubs, audio or MIDI interfaces too. The rubber grip surfaces are simple and the dials are easy to tighten, if a little industrial.Bear in mind this is also strong and secure enough to work attached to shelf or table legs, to hold strips upside down or upright. There's a lot of potential for tidying up!
