Very functional. I bought 2 and put one on the top of a small sized white desk and one on the floor on the right side of the desk. Looks really cute but also very functional and adds a lot of extra shelving.

This little shelf is very impressive. Took a couple tries with the metal tubing there is a right side up and a right side down when installing the screws into the wood and the knobs into the bottom. If it seems wobbly or askew when you're tightening the rods flip it the other way around and it goes in like a dream. This little shelf is sturdy and strong and made out of real wood and real metal tubing. Strong enough to hold some very heavy books. I will definitely buy this again! And you can't beat the price!
