I got this to use in the book room of a nonprofit I work for. There are some short bookcases that I thought this would be good for so that I could display more books.Took me 13 min to put it together. I took my time, making sure that I didn't over tighten the screws.Wood has a nice finish. I didn't put the gaskets on, I'll see when I put it on the bookcase if it doesn't move around.(there was an extra screw in the bag)Very happy with this little desktop bookshelf.

This is an extremely basic product. 6 pieces of wood and screws including a tool (hex wrench) to assemble it. Instructions for assembling are simple and assembly is rather easy. The wood looks and feels cheap - my guess is that it is made from scrap wood left over from other products. It fits together as it should, however, upon assembly, it is wobbly. I am working on a solution for this. It does come with little rubber feet for the bottom of the stand which would contact the surface upon which it sits. I haven't decided if I will use them or not; I want to solve the wobbling problem first. Overall, it is highly functional, useful for its intended purpose, but it is questionable as far as the value for the money. If I were to buy one, I would look for a higher quality item. On a budget or for a dorm room, this would be a good choice.
