I used this label maker to label and inventory about 75 items for a local non profit in my area a few months ago in addition to some other labeling projects around the house. The labels printed with the included label tape are still sticking after 3 months. Quality wise I'd say it's on par with other label makers that are slightly cheaper and priced similarly.I actually like the feel of this label maker compared to the cheaper and enterprise grade label makers though. This feels ergonomic when you're typing with it. It's also compatible with brother label tape which is a plus.Standby power is pretty good as well as it shuts down fairly quickly and preserves the aaa battery power. I haven't had to replace the batteries yet.Overall I'd recommend it but would like to see the price come down slightly.

I love this label maker so much. I have been using it to label a lot of things lately, and it works great. It is easy to switch ribbons/tapes, and I have used both Brother brand and knockoff brand tapes without issue. I was able to start labeling right from the box without reading the manual, but I also didn't do anything beyond writing basic labels with our names on them. I am not the most techy person and find all of the functions to be a bit overwhelming, so I will likely just stick to uppercase and lowercase letters in the starting font. The cutter slices cleanly and smoothly, and aside from a ribbon getting bunched up inside the machine one time, I have not had any issues at all with this. Be aware that when you print on ribbons, you will need to put the printer into mirror mode or else the image will be printed backwards as the ribbon prints on the underside instead of the top like the tapes. If I can figure this printer out, just about anyone can. It is my favorite toy right now and I love to label everything.(My pic shows three different labels that I printed with this for a logbook recording our Fiasco games and a badge for a recurring NPC. White and green are tapes, and red is a ribbon.)5 stars

I like labels. I like labeling thing. I enjoy knowing before I open a box or container what’s inside. This cute yellow label maker just makes life easier! It’s small enough that it’s easy to tuck away in a drawer. It came with two colors of label tape though I do prefer the white with black letters for most things. It’s easy to use to create the label and the end cutter cuts smoothly.

I took off one star because the controls/menu is a little clunky. If you plan on using the same font and label size, it's a breeze to use. It cuts cleanly and prints clearly. It was a little bigger than I expected but I'm very happy with it. It comes with a port for a power cord but there's none included. It would be fantastic if you could use power or batteries. So far the batteries have lasted a while. It shuts off automatically which is a nice battery saving feature.

Got about 4, maybe 5 labels printed. Then, no matter what I did, it wouldn't print any more. It had plenty of tape left, but nothing. Ended up tossing it.

This is the best thing ever. It has so many uses and is capable to do so many things. It comes with a long manual but it is useful to know all of the uses. There was one odd thing about this product though. I used the red ribbon it came with and it printed in reverse. There is a mirror button which allows you to write in reverse so I was able to fix it. Overall I love this product.

This label maker is fine. It looks cute, but it lacks features that other, brand-name label makers, include for similar prices. The build quality of this label maker is surprisingly fine. It’s not designed for industrial use, but it feels sturdy enough for day-to-day use in an office, craft room, study, or kitchen. The design is great for basic labeling. The QWERTY keyboard is easy to use, but some features could be better. For example, the button labeled “SHIFT” doesn’t actually shift. It allows you to use the punctuation options above the numbers. To swap between uppercase and lowercase, you use the “A/a” button along the top. When swapping between them, the screen forces you to pause and shows you which one you are choosing. Honestly, it’s very tedious to switch back and forth. Small things like this are the real issues with this label maker. Getting to some of the less common punctuation requires a deep dive into the menu, which itself is hidden in the symbol menu. It’s just a little on the messy side. If you plan on making a lot of detailed labels, you’ll need to set aside some time to familiarize yourself with the machine and menus. My biggest complaint about this label maker is limited options. For the same price, or less in some cases, you could get a name brand label maker that comes with multiple fonts, borders, clip art, and more clear menus. This one just feels lacking. It is clearly a knock-off of the more popular brand. It even uses name brand tape. This is convenient because it means the tape is easy to find and generics are cheap to order. It’s also disappointing because the name brand software is so much better in every way.Overall, this is a fine label maker for basic needs. The menus are clunky but it’s easy to start making labels in minutes. If you want more features, go for the big brand. If you just need something for quick labels that all look about the same, this should do it for you.
