Very poor quality, i can't recommend anyone to buy Detroit shocks, and customer service also very poorly handled my case. Installed the shocks on 8/17/2024 (143,348 miles) at the Rising Star Motor in Temple City, California. Now the car is at (144,019), driven only 671 miles, and brand new Detroit shocks failed again, squeaking noise and bouncing. Contacted to Detroit customer service for Warranty replacement, had to wait 17 minutes on hold, and they are asking for $65.00 shipping fees, they said this is the warranty and customer has to pay shipping fees, the entire shocks and sway bar set is $112 original price shipping included, the shocks failed in 670 miles of regular commuting on CA freeway. And they wanted to charge me additional $65 shipping fees. DO NOT BUY DETROIT SHOCKS, THEY ARE NOT STANDING BY THEIR PRODUCT WARRANTY.

These were used on a 2006 Honda CR-VThey were the exact fit and bolted right in, no issues. The strut's were a great price, much cheaper than what I could get at the Part's Stores and I received them a couple days earlier than anticipated.

Great quality for the price, fit my crv like the factory struts. No more sag in the rear. The included sway bar links are very heavy duty and have grease fittings on them.

These are what they are advertised, I put these on a 2003 Honda Cr-V. Fit well and look robust. Here is the deal: if you are going to put in struts you need to understand you will need torque wrenches, you will need to know torque requirements, you will need special tools for tie rod ends, you will need an alignment afterwards. This is a safety specific job that you will need to study up on and know the torque requirements and how to do this properly. If you know what you are doing, these work great.

These were delivered with very little packaging, and one of the brake line mounts was slightly bent. Installation went great! Took about 1.5 hours with a mechanic that was doing it for the first time. There's some youtube videos out there about these specific installs. If you are experiencing a "Pulling to the right" issue, these may solve your issue, but PAY ATTENTION to the bushings in the lower control arm. If they are blown or torn, it will still pull right.

2002 Honda CRV FWD 235KFirst Honda we've owned and had the car for about 3 years and 50k miles. Recently noticed an oil leak, rough idle, and lots of noise in the front end. After the following parts from Amazon, 5-6 hours of work, $80 for alignment, and $120 to a local machine shop to press the bearings. Okay, hands down these are the best shocks I have ever bought and here's why. 1. They're cheap 2 They work, and quite well at that. First off lets face it, if you're buying shocks online, your looking for the price, and these shocks were half the price of those at my local DISCOUNT auto parts store. Basically I got a buy one get one free deal getting them on here. So there is no reason to argue it, this price is insanely low. Second, I know we all worry about cheap parts, but let me tell you about these. They are comfortable, even if I had paid double for these I wouldn't have compained that's how good they are. My mechanic had no problems putting them in so they were definitely built to spec, and they feel great. I saved so much money buying these online, in fact it was my mechanic who referred me to get them online, and I am so happy he did. I love these and I would recommend you get them as well!
