Good value for the money, have had it for a few months now, steering was super smooth, a bit too smooth that it was super sensitive when driving over street imperfections, would shift the whole truck to one side or another. Starts to click when i turn once in a while, not sure if thats normal or not. But its a good buy.

I bought this because of the reviews on amazon. the product came in ok, just a minor problem with packaging but everything was there and it was the right piece. when I tried to contact them about returning the old one it got interesting. the phone number listed on the amazon customer profile would not go through and the company on detroit axle's website takes you a voicemail that, to say the least, is not helpful and somewhat irritating. I checked some non amazon reviews and found that this is not unusual and the ratings were not very good, problems with wrong parts, returns etc. Most complaints seem to be about very poor customer service and support. I decided to keep the old one and if the new rack and pinion goes out I will use the old one for a core when I buy another at a regular auto parts store.
