Everything fit perfect. The rears where a pain "the, you know what" to put on but that was design of the car not the shocks.

Everything got well, went in easy. RAV4 with 220k and the OEMs were completely toast. These have been on for about of month now and drives 10x better! So far so good.

Easy installation as it should, no biggie for us diy’ers!Right out of the bat: noises! Lots of it… didn’t even last a week or something 😂 clunk noises to the point I had to take them out and put back on the OEMs it replaced… guess what, the oem were 1000X better.Contacted the seller, and to get a replacement I was suppose to spend money sending back mines LOL really Detroit? They know nobody will do that, warranty is a trap! Don’t get these! Just don’tAlso bought their brakes rotors and pads, it rusted first blink of my eyes, after a while, rotors are bent or some, it shakes the heck of the car when you press the brake pedal.Don’t try to save money, save the hustle, look somewhere else, this brand is a joke.Oh yeah, the struts and everything went straight to the dumpster, lesson learned!

I purchase a set of complete strut assembly and shocks for my 2007 RAV4. After a couple of months, the right front strut started making noises (metal clunking) when going over small bumps or potholes. Soon after, the right rear started to make the same noise, next was the left rear, and finally the left front. In less than six months, the strut and shocks are all defective. I contacted Detroit Axle, they wanted me to have the defects verified by a local mechanic, most likely with a fee. The worst part of the conversation was the company would only cover one item in the set! This company does not stand behind its product, I will never buy from them again.

Back in February of this year, I bought a set of Complete Strut Assemblies and rear Shock absorbers for my Toyota Rav4. About 3 or 4 months later, the strut and shock on the passenger side started to make noise which became louder and louder as time went by. I contacted Detroit Axle to ask for replacement parts. They told me I needed to provide invoice from a Certified Mechanic, which a did. Then I was informed that they could only replace one of the parts but as a favor they would replace both. But their Warranty did not cover the $336 I have to pay for installation. I argued, to no avail, that it was their defective product the reason of this problem. They still refused. Anyway, I would not advise anyone to buy from this company ! BUYER BEWARE, BUY AT YOUR OWN RISK!!!!

I've bought a lot of these assemblies over the years, and Detroit Axle is by far the most heavy duty. The stabilizer links come with grease fittings (zerks), the o.e.m.'s don't. Typically the strut replacement will affect the camber, as with many vehicles that's how it's managed. These R.A.V. rigs have a different front end than many, so these struts don't adjust via the top strut to spindle bolt, all four holes are the same size as the bolts. I put them in and have driven 200 miles, nice to have the damping and ride height back, and it doesn't even need an alignment. I haven't done the shocks yet, but the video looked ugly. Well, we've done worse.
