Overall great deal. This is the second set of Detroit Axle rotors and 4th set of pads. Not for the same vehicle but at this point I can say with confidence that they make a good product. As far as stopping power they're on par with OE brakes. You can get better pads and rotors but for the price these are hard to beat. I absolutely wouldn't hesitate to use any of their products.

Everything I needed was there. Nice smooth noiseless braking. Retired 45 yr GM Tech.Update: two weeks passed and getting growling noises and a vibration with light applications. Working with seller to rectify.Second update: after 500 miles there is a lot of brake dust accumulated on the wheels, way more that OEM pads. Ordered OEM AC Delco pads and at a loss with the seller.

The rotors seem to be of decent quality. The pads were pretty noisy for about 5k miles. Haven't noticed them lately though so maybe they just needed to be broke in. Stopping power is good. No vibrations or brake pedal pulse.

As an ASE certified mechanic since 1996, And having worked on Ford, Ferrari, jaguar, Aston Martin, Ferrari, Lotis, McLaren, and dozens of others of makes of my own vehicles, I know a thing or two about brakes. I have never had a come back on a brake job in over 25 years. I can quickly and easily diagnose and repair squeaking, grinding, vibration, stickiness, etc. with great success.First thing I will say that this is a very well put together kit. All the hardware brake pad lubricant even cleaner is included.However, after installing my new brakes and properly burnishing in the new pads to the new rotors, within a few miles, the brake pads begin to grab and moan at low speed when cold. Honestly, I have never heard moaning brake pads like this. It is worst when they are cold. So bad you want to pull your foot off the pedal Ceramic brake pads are great when they are paired to the proper kind of metal composition brake rotor. You cannot just put ceramic pads on any type of metal brake rotor. They must be matched that have materials that work together. I don’t know if this is what the issue is, I am not a metallurgist nor do I have the equipment to test the metal or brake pads. As far as the installation, there is nothing wrong with that. That would only leave Some kind of manufacturing issue as the culprit.These moan and stick and shutter so bad under 5 miles an hour that I thought my Lugnuts were loose. After checking my work, I found there was nothing wrong with the installation. They do not do it every time, but suddenly of the blue when are nearing a stop, The brakes start to moan like I have big Knobby off-road tires.I have never heard or felt any brakes like this in my life it’s very bizarre. I would not recommend buying these.UPDATE. I sent this complaint to the company. No response. I purchased different pads by power stop. Non-ceramic pads. My brakes are quiet and do not grab or drag anymore. I do not moan or squeal. I stand by my review and I suggest that you do not buy these
