Changed out all my steering components out with these new ones and truck drives awesome. I had a small issue with my order, but the folks at Detroit Axle were able to help resolve it without any issues. Good deal and I’m quite happy with the results!

At first the parts looked good and fit well. But after 20,000 miles I have had to start replacing parts again. They cheaply made and don’t last.

I'm not the one that really writes reviews, but... I've bought Detroit Axel products in the past and they were good. This time I bought the steering assembly for my 2003 s10. All i needed was tie rods but decided to replace the gamut because this was my fathers truck and after his death I held onto the truck for my son. Also, its a good project for me to teach him how to fix the truck. While the parts "looked" like they would fit, once we tried installing them we discovered that the angles were almost all slightly off. In all actuality the only parts that fit were the outer tie rods. the only parts I actually needed. So now I spent about 120 over what was needed and have a box of metal that I cant use. I will say that the box came in looking like an accordion and was missing one outer tie rod and the shipping invoice. customer service sent me out a replacement very quickly. I'm not mad at anyone person but the situation. The parts just didn't fit and I had to use 2 of them to get the truck back up and running. Buyer beware.

I would of given a 5 star rating except for the fact that I had to re-drill 4 of the cotter pin holes to match the castle nuts. The manufactured holes were predrilled WAY above the castle nut. Not much trouble to re-drill but annoying.Overall I'm satisfied with the product. 1999 Chevrolet Blazer RWD. Would buy again.
