I sure got bit on this one I understand that I should have opened the box when I got in April when it came but the box looked good and I was not ready for the part so it went on the shelf. Today June 10th I opened up the box and you would know the transmission race cover is bent Looks like the damage was in production seeing it was wrapped in that plastic wrapping you all put on it, sucks for me I have to have the axle in the car in a few days, I hate to say it I sourced it locally for about twice what I paid it. Tough Decision on buying anything from Detroit Axle again.

I ordered this cv axle for my Jeep Patriot. To my surprise what came inside the box was a junk. The thread was completely damaged and the rest was rusted and painted over. Overall cannot be used and was returned. Do not buy from this seller.
