BOUGHT A RACK AND PINION FROM DETROIT AXLE IN NOVEMBER 2018 WITH A (LIFETIME WARRANTY) AND IT'S LEAKING POWER STERING FLUID AND I CAN'T GET A REPLY FROM THEM.

This is a quality rack and pinion. It resolved the issue I had in my 04 maxima. The outer tie rods seemed to be 2 different kinds but they worked and were new they forgot the cotter pin and grease fitting for one of them but I had extras at the shop. Steering is smooth and that's what really matters. You have to send back the old rack to get the lifetime warranty but they give you the shipping label.

So far, so good. Arrived sooner than expected, my mechanic wasn't ready for it. Part was well protected in the box. A heck of a lot cheaper than sourcing from big box auto parts place. Mechanic was happy that it includes the parts that connect to the wheels. I'm hoping it will be a good long term fix for my 2007 Maxima SL.

Very nice package. .most people don't realize the outer tie rods are loose or boots damaged letting the lube grease out at the same time the rack wears out. rack worked nice too.
