My mechanic determined I needed a new rack & Pinion for my 2008 Tiburon. Purchased this for less $$ than mechanic could get through his distributors. And it included the tie rod ends too. He said this was better and improvement on factory part. After install, noticeable steering and handling improvement! With core return (they include the box and shipping back) has warranty.

Had a terrible experience with this company. Installed this rack and it started leaking fluid after only a few months use. Called the customer service and they told me that I had to wait for the six months to file a claim. Not sure why this was the case but I dealt with the leak and submitted a claim. Paid $35 shipping and a deposit on the new rack. Installed the new rack and sent core back and had to struggle with customer service to get a refund. After 11 months of light driving the rack started leaking again. Called customer service and was told that since there was already a claim on that order I could not file another one. After a very heated conversation about our different ideas about what Lifetime Warranty means a manager approved another replacement. After a third install and more shipping charges I am now waiting for another refund. I would not use this company again as the money I saved on the initial part has been spent many times over in time, labor and shipping. Find a new part or at least find a more reputable vendor and save yourself alot of headaches.

Installed on an '05 Elantra. No rubber isolators, and the mounting holes are too small to accommodate the originals, but ti fit fine. Gear ratio is different from my original. This rack is 3.25 revs total, the original was 4.25. Steering is a bit stiffer, but quicker.

The unit arrived quickly and it looked brand new for a rebuilt unit. Had it installed and it worked great. No problems noted on product or ordering!

Nice piece of equipment, lifetime warranty , but ship was slow, only reason I won't give it 5 stars.

The rack fit my 2001 Elantra. The effort it took to replace it was extreme (this has nothing to do with the product or product review, I'm just mentioning this for readers). The kit was good. I like the inclusion of the tie rod ends with this "kit" at a lower price than getting a rack and the tie rod ends separately. My minus one star is that there is just a tad bit "play" (wiggle?) in the rack after I got it installed and got the alignment. What I mean is that...let's say you are making a slight turn to the right, then you bring the steering wheel back to the left, there is like 1inch of steering wheel movement that it isn't moving the steering. I have another Elantra so I am able to compare it fairly directly. There is a chance the "play" is in my coupling and not this rack, but it seems to be in the rack itself. It's not a deal breaker, but I wanted to mention it. But the rack bolted up easily, aka, all the holes were in the correct place. Make SURE you tie down your steering wheel before removing the old rack. Do not say "Oh, it'll be ok". You need to tie it so it doesn't swing around and possibly set off the air bag warning lights. You must drop the subframe to do this repair.Hint: make sure you "center" this rack before you put it back in the car. It is much easier outside the car then inside. My rack had 3 full turns, so I centered at 1.5 turns. One more thing that contributes to the minus-one-star. The inner tie rod was sticking out of the box a little on delivery. If you are the company who distributes this product, you might want to adjust packaging a little. Most of it was packaged well, but you gotta remember the delivery companies put these packages through the ringer. My threads were not hurt. There was good packaging material around the rack itself, just the one inner tie rod was poking through. The rack did not leak and I passed inspection (the reason my inspection failed to begin with). So I am happy in that regard.
