I grow most of our veggies and herbs in our basement under lights. I bought one of these dollies a year ago to hold a 25 gallon fabric pot, and it worked well with a pot saucer I found that was large enough to hold the pot with some room around the pot for drainage. When I found these dollies were available again, I decided to buy 4 more of them. Although the shipping cost of $16 was off-putting, I found out that shipping was only $4 more for four of them.At any rate, my problem was that some of the grew too large for for 15 gallon plastic pots, and I needed to pot them up. After checking prices on the 25 gallon plastic pots, I decided to buy 25 gallon fabric pots which are 22" at the base. The next challenge was to find saucers to put under them that were large enough to fit the pots and still have room for drainage. Next, I had to find a plant caddy large enough to hold the saucers. This caddy fit my saucers perfectly. Since the plants are constantly growing, it is necessary to sometimes reorganize and move them to allow for growth. Without these dollies, this task would be very difficult to say the least. In my opinion, these plant dollies would work very well for moving any plant in a 20-25 gallon pot whether inside or outside. The wheels work very well and you don't have to fight with them to keep them going in the direction you want to move them. You just need to make sure that the base of your pot or plant saucer will fit on the dolly. Since this dolly does not have a lip, your saucer can be a bit larger than the dolly and it still works well.I hope this review was helpful for you.

My husband bought a very large telescope that he thought he should store in our living room. I was so happy to get this stand and put the telescope on it so I could wheel it into a closet. It’s a nice size and very sturdy quality.

I bought this for my Lettuce Grow Garden Tower so that I can move it around much better. :)

I ordered this for my new indoor vertical hydroponic garden, which is very heavy because of all the water. The roller in the very center of the dolly makes it super sturdy. It came pre-assembled, so just take it out of the box and use. It's actually more taupe than gray, but I have gray walls and it fine. I'm very pleased with this plant dolly!

The dolly is linked on the Lettuce Grow website . Bought it for my Farmstand and it's perfect. It does get a little heavy to move with the FS but it's sturdy and well made and does the job.

I have this one for over 4 years and my new one. It is sturdy and easy to move with a 10ft banana tree in half keg.

I was facing the annual Christmas tree storage problem that everyone has around the holiday season. I happens that I just completed finishing the lower level of my home and installed a closet deep enough for a Christmas tree. Now my tree has a permanent place on this plant stand. The original Christmas tree tripod stand happens to fit perfectly on this platform and within the perimeter rim. The rim prevents the tree stand from sliding off on any side. Now I simply wheel the tree intact in and out of the closet when needed. As far as a bag or some sort of tree retainer I use a big roll of cling wrap that is designed and used for wrapping and shipping large objects. I cling-wrap the tree. This pulls the branches up and together and inexpensively and effectively does the job of the tree bag. It's a much simpler operation inexpensive too. Bottom line ... happy customer.

It works fine. Gives us the ability to move a huge planter without scratching the expensive lobby floor. Looks OK except the casters are not very nice looking. A slightly more decorative caster would make a better looking plant stand. I may have to change them if the boss says to because it is in a high end building lobby, and the casters stick out like a sore thumb.
