These are a quality replacement for plastic parts that end-up breaking or wearing-down easily. If you don't spend a bunch of money on your RC vehicle initially then they are probably coming with plastic parts that can be easily broken in the course of using the vehicle. Would use again.

I recently built a custom steering linkage for an RC crawler. My old servo horn was plastic. These metal steering arms are a bit longer and have additional screws that help keep the horn attached to the servo’s spline. They are more durable than my plastic one. I like the extra strength they provide.
