I'm using this knock sensor to diagnose faulty OEM sensors. I have this installed in my Impreza and it seems to perform pretty well so far. I've been driving with it for about a day and the ECU did not pull back timing. I do not hear any knocking as well so it's safe to assume this sensor is doing its job. I have a feeling this sensor isn't as sensitive as the OEM where-as the OEM is overly sensitive. Will update this review if I notice any changes.

Used to replace failing knock sensor. After about a week the vehicle got considerably worse. Took to a mechanic and he tested the sensor. It was way out of spec. He showed me what it is supposed to read from an OEM sensor. Don't waste your money.
