Fairly basic lights, but a lot of them. I am guilty of not reading the listing well enough, or of misunderstanding at the the very least. I was expecting signal lights that I could link to steering and in general, more control over the lights than what is actually available. It also would have been nice to get instructions that explained the product better. Anyway, overall it's certainly not a bad set, it's just nothing special either.

I'm using this in a custom 1:8 static model, and it's SO much simpler than putting all the electronics together from scratch. All the lights work properly, and the kit is more than enough to complete most anything- you don't have to use them all, but 12 should be enough. This would also be great for other types of static models, such as airplanes.

I installed this on my drift car and it looks fantastic. This is a basic LED kit that can either light up completely or activate different light patterns using a button. Unfortunately the light patterns cannot be controlled using the 3rd channel. The wiring has more than enough length to fit a 10th scale touring car body. Everything is plug and play. Although this kit does not come with wiring instructions, you can plug these lights anywhere on the control board and keep swapping them until you get the correct lighting.

Though they don't come with instructions my husband was able to find a wiring chart on one of the previous reviews that helped him significantly on setting these up. Very in depth and good quality headlight kit that he installed on his Axial Wraith.

This was a nice little RC lighting kit especially for the price. The wires are high quality silicone and the whole kit was easy to install. There were no instructions included, but I found this diagram and it seems to work. Substitute orange for the yellow LEDs in the diagram. The bottom row is vehicle lights, headlights, taillights etc. the top row is auxiliary lights. The system draws 140mA at 5.2 V higher than the product description, but that is with all 12 lights plugged in and working. This kit is going into a Tamiya Midnight Pumpkin. Cheers!
