Used with sanding backing pad in 4 1/2" grinder. This is a coarse heavy duty disc. I used it on Metal, Wood, Fiberglass and concrete. It removes or smooths easily so you can use a finer grade of sandpaper later. The 25 pack is very cost efficient. On the grinder some parts like the "O" ring or back plate if present, must be removed so the spindle is long enough to accept the backing pad but once removed you can easily put it on or off by hand.

It's hard to draw that fine line of where the ol' Black & Decker reputation ended and the quality of DeWalt begins. So far I've never been disappointed with anything I've purchased with the DeWalt name on it, including this product. I know that I pay more for schtuff with the DeWalt name on it, but in the long run it's usually money well spent when compared to other products.

I was planning to use this but turns out I did not need it. I did test it on my truck. It removes paint like a charm, but not as good as the paint eater pads.
