I love using this tool. Powerful yet safe due to the clutch. Every contractor needs to make holes in confined spaces, especially plumbers and electrician. This tool is expensive but it is an investment!Mark

Great drill. This is my second, had the first for 20 years used every day in Construction would still be using it if had not been stolen. Best drill on the markets

New home plumber for 37 years. These are the best drill going. The clutch saves you from very hard kick back from 3.5" and larger bits in wood.

Very heavy duty. First one made a horrible grinding noise, got it replaced. Second one is not much quieter but has not self destructed so far. Weighs a ton, kind of awkward for overhead work. Plenty of torque to snap paddle bits. I probably should have gotten something a little lighter but could not find the Milwaukee I wanted at a reasonable price.

On -off switch already broken, I guess its cheaply made, old drill switch wore out over 20 years of use. Will Amazon stand behind purchase, and send out a new switch to "valued customer" me?

Got this as a gift for my picky husband while we were building our home. He reports that it works great, is heavy duty and has never failed him.

I have always been a Makita guy but have used DeWalt tools on many occasions. I think that the quality of DeWalt has improved a great deal in the past ten years. This drill is powerful and comfortable to use. It also doesn't yank your arm and drive it into the wall, like many other angle drills. The 11Amp motor has plenty of power to drill effortlessly through large beams. I plan on keeping this tool for the remainder of my construction career. I'll also give other DeWalt tools a second look.
