Big Jeff shipped these 10" bits right away as I really needed longer bits for window installation, thanks shipping dudes. First bit, made 1 hole in concrete block 2.5" deep-great; then next hole was tough to drill, not so great; third hole would not happen as the cutting tip was worn totally down. It would not even drill through the wood 'buck' easily. Second bit worked for 2 holes [second with difficulty] and the tip was a goner. These tips were 'soft' and absolutely worthless. I do NOT lean on them and the tips didn't turn blue from heat, they just wore off really really fast. I had to finish with the bulk masonry bits that are pretty good but 6".

Worked great, no complaints. Hole drilled the correct size and Tapcons worked fine. Longer bit that needed for the screw but required the extra clearance in a few areas for my hammer drill and this bit length made life easy.

At first appearance you would think this but would snap under any amount of pressure. It is made very strong and performs well. I had to drill some pilot holes for spikes through asphalt and rock. This did the job perfectly. I started putting too much force instead of letting the bit do the work and it started bowing but kept cutting. It went right back to being straight and never broke. Definitely a good purchase.

This drill bit fits perfectly in my hammer drill and appears to be very durable. I have already used it to drill through cinder block walls as well as holes in concrete decks many times and there is very little wear that can be noticed. I am very satisfied with this purchase through Amazon.
