Bought this back in August 24, Love it! EXCEPT, sometimes it is too strong. For example, I will be cleaning the couch and it will suck down to the point it's hard to pull and it feels like it will stretch the fabric. IF on the wand they would put a "window" with a movable closure it could remedy that problem by reducing the suction on the pickup attachment. On floors and other areas it has FANTASTIC power and does a great job

My wife spilled a large coke she purchased from a local fast food restaurant in her car. While the Weather Tech floor mat did catch most of it there was at least a quarter of the container that still got on the carpet. I had been thinking of replacing my very old Craftsman shop vac for some time so I purchased this Dewalt shop vac because I had been researching it for some time. It not only sucked up all the liquid but it left the carpet with no sticky residue at all. I am very impressed and happy that I found it at a great price. It is compact, powerful, quiet and very mobile and I didn’t have to purchase any other add on because it came with everything I needed.

It took over 3 months from the time I ordered it until I got it, but now that I have it I think it was worth the wait. It has more suction than any of the other shop vacuums I have had it even has a smart and efficient pouch for the attachments, nothing hanging off the side or sitting on a frame on the outside. Would definitely recommend this vaccum.

I purchased this product for my older home that has issues with occasional flooding due to a grading problem outside my home. The box arrived on time and all the parts and tools were included as advertised. I had to use it within a week of my purchase and boy were my expectations exceeded! This machine sucked up inches of water in a matter of minutes! I was able to easily empty the bucket over my drain without picking it up. The brush has a rubber lining on it that helped to trap the water in so that it could be sucked up quickly. The suction power exceeded my expectations. It is very noisy but I don't really care given the effectiveness of the cleanup. My only real issue is with one of the wheels that sometimes dislodges while you are rolling it. The wheels are easy to slide back on, but it is a pain to have to fix when it does come off. I have no other complaints with this item. If you think that you could have severe flooding due to a busted water heater or severe weather, this is the product you want in your home! I highly recommend!

I previously purchased a wet/dry vac from the company whose name is basically synonymous with the tool... it broke just after the warranty expired. My general policy with tools is that if I break one, spring for a quality model. I bought the DXV10P and have not been disappointed. The build quality on this thing is outstanding compared to the previous junk I had. All of the parts are heavy duty ABS plastic and fit together with no gaps, rattles, or play. The on/off rocker switch is enormous and easy to hit with the tip of the hose when it's out of your reach. The hose has a security clamp anchoring it to the vacuum. The unit rolls on heavy duty swivel casters that spin and rotate smoothly without binding. The cord is long enough that you don't need an extension for use around the house. The body has a strap for the hose and a carrying handle that is more than capable of supporting the weight of the entire kit. Attachments come with your purchase, as well as an on-board bag to hold them in. The narrowest attachment has a slice down the side to help prevent overheating the motor if you pass the tip over something that can't fit through the nozzle and gets stuck. Suction is great - around the house I am always impressed with how much this thing wants to catch itself on.Coming from a piece of junk, I am thrilled with this thing every time I use it. The only nitpicks I can think of:- it's bulky and fairly heavy. It's a 10-gallon model so this is part of the description - just something to be aware of if space is at a premium, or you have multiple floors to your home or shop. The handle and casters mitigate this somewhat- the cord is positioned at a weird angle. OK, I'm REALLLY reaching here, but I do find myself running over the cord with absurd frequency- doesn't come with hearing protection. It may or may not be quieter than it's competition (I stepped up in power, so I don't have a baseline to compare to), but it is a power tool that moves lots of air - it's going to be loud. Grab a cheap pair of shooting muffs and hang them on the handle or put them in the bag so you never forget to use them - in the long run, your ears will thank you

Excelente aspiradora, cuenta con mucha potencia y menor ruido que otras, lo único que agregaría es adaptadores para dar la medida con la herramienta

I own the DEWALT dust extractor and really like it, so when my 16 gallon shop vac that has been through three motors over 15 or more years finally gave up I needed a new shop vac - primarily for liquid but also dry goods - I knew I wanted a smaller shop vac so it would fit standing up (standing up) in my truck underneath the bed cover but also one that had a hose hook up so that when I do vacuum water up - I could drain the tub with a hose while I continue sucking it up. I almost bought the 9 gallon model which seemed to be the same for most part, but I believe the Motor in the 10 gal model to be worth the additional money. The other feature that surprised me on this vacuum is the “accessory holder.” While I rarely fill it with accessories it is very useful for keeping other cleaning items in like spare garbage bags, spray cleaner, dust pans etc. While I am sure my old shop vac didn’t have as much power at the end of its life as it did at the beginning this vacuum is a beast. All in all it is probably the best shop vac I have ever owned - though I know many people use a shop vac for many different roles and I use mine most often for wet, but some dry and do t ever use a bag because I don’t want to hamper its use for wet stuff.I know there have been reviews that were negative about various DEWALT vacuums but I now have the 10 gallon dust extractor, the shop vac and the 2 gallon chorded/chordless vacuum and am very pleased with all their performance.I think in general that negative reviews on these products are generally based on misunderstandings about the role of each type of machine. Shop vacs can be used as dust extractors and vice versa, but each tool has its own strengths.
