Couplers and Plugs
Include a 1/4" NPT brass coupling and an I/M steel plug to help you quickly connect your air compressor to your air tools. The bend restrictor reduces kinks and extends the life of the hose.

This "DEWENWILS 1/4 in x 10ft Polyurethane Recoil Air Hose with Fittings" came nicely wrapped in heavy plastic shrink wrap for protection.The "stress relief" sleeves on the ends of the hose are a good feature, as they help prevent the connectors from breaking the hose where they attach.I'm using this hose with my 5-gal portable air compressor and the quick-connect fits the compressor perfectly, and my accessories snap into the far end connector easily also. I am very happy with this "air hose" and it's connectors.I can easily recommend this "air hose" to anyone who needs a coiled air hose.

Flexibility and sturdiness are usually at odds with these. I was specifically looking for one that leaned more towards flexible that I can use at my workbench mostly for blowing dust off of things. I wasn't going to be tripping over it or throwing framing nailers on top of it or anything like that. This is definitely nice and flexible. The strain reliefs showed up just as they are in the picture, which means that they slide down the hose and don't relieve much strain at all. It took a bit of doing, but I pushed them up over the hex connections and it seems like they will serve their purpose better that way. My only complaint is that the quick disconnects are cheap and leaky. Not like occasional puffs when you wiggle it, but a constant hiss. I did notice a few strands of teflon tape on the inside of the female end and thought that might have been the problem, but removing it didn't help. I know how to fix this problem, but I wish they'd have charged a few more dollars and put nicer connections on to begin with...or charged a few dollars less and let you put your own on.
